Dear Parents, Students, and Community,

I am thrilled to be a part of the vibrant community at Whitehall Elementary School. The dedicated and innovative staff, along with the strong involvement of the community, make Whitehall an exceptional and special place to positively influence the lives of children. I am grateful for the chance to serve the students, staff members, parents, and community members at Whitehall.

As an educator, I firmly believe in forming partnerships with our students' parents. I hold the belief that parental involvement plays a vital role in enhancing student achievement, attendance, motivation, self-concept, and behavior. The support of our parents and community is deeply valued, and I rely on their continued dedication to our school. Collaborating with teachers, students, families, and the community is at the core of my focus, as we work together to ensure that every student reaches their full potential and becomes a lifelong learner.

Having served in school administration for 16 years, including six years at Whitehall, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students. Prior to accepting the principalship at Whitehall, I held positions as an Administrative Assistant/Assistant Principal at Woodland Elementary, Instructional Assistant Principal at Palmetto Elementary, and Principal at Varennes Elementary School. 

My educational journey began with a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate. After spending several years in the classroom, I made the decision to pursue a degree in school leadership to further my knowledge and impact. Consequently, I earned a Master's in Education of School Administration from Grand Canyon University. I continue my education and professional development through various classes, specialized cohorts, etc. 

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am fortunate to share my life with my wonderful husband, Brian Bufford. Together, we have four amazing children and one precious grandchild. When I am not working, I cherish the time spent with my family. We enjoy engaging in activities such as watching movies, skating, shopping, swimming, and vacationing together, creating cherished memories.

My commitment to education and the well-being of every student at Whitehall is a deep-seated passion. I am genuinely excited about fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with all stakeholders as we continue to ensure that every student flourishes.

Once again, I express my gratitude to be a part of the Whitehall Elementary School community. I am genuinely excited to embark on a new school year with you.
